The workshops and its auxiliary facilities of JFMT’S new factory in Zhangqiu will be completed soon. In consequence, the relocation of the whole company starts to count down. Following the principle of “one leadership, clarified responsibility, harmonious coordination”, the relocation work will be carried out in two steps: First step, build first-stage project, mainly including CNC lathes unit, machining center unit, function parts unit, sawing machine company, staff canteen, staff dormitory .etc. In this period, JFMT will move most of its production functions to the new base step by step as per the planned movement sequence. Second step: Complete the construction of main administration building, technical center .etc. , add new workshops and extend the production capacity in accordance with the demand of the operation. The final target is to successfully relocate JFMT as a whole.
The relocation work shall be completed without stopping the operation so as to ensure that the production process is improved to meet the requirements of the new production organization and impel the upgrading of technology and production capacity, cost reducing and other works.
Since the relocation office was set up at the beginning of the year, with loyalty to the company’s intention “is responsible for the company and work” and guidance of the management team, it rescreened the previously confirmed move-out equipment which was obviously in excess. After discussion with the corresponding departments and the users, based on the comments of the staff, the quantity of the move-out equipment was reduced in great extent. Meanwhile, the purchase equipment list is adjusted which helps to reduce the expenditure on relocation work and procurement costs. As requested by the management team, regular meeting was held every week to communicate the direction and arrangement of the company to the relevant departments in time and clarify the responsibilities to make sure the relocation work will be carried out smoothly. As for the newly arisen problems, the office will work out solutions and follow up the progress. The office will keep contact with the Mechanical Engineering Institute, Tongyuan Design Institute and contracted construction company for the new factory. Do not suspend and shuffled the occurred problems; in contrast, try to coordinate and solve them. Taking into account the movement procedure of the company and the movement plan of each department, the relocation office has to work out a complete movement sequence and plan. In addition, in accordance with the requirements of the company, the relocation office has participated in the bidding for overhaul on production equipment and purchasing new equipment.
Now, the construction of the project for medium and high level CNC lathe innovation and industrialization is coming to the end. All the workshops and the auxiliary administration buildings are under final decoration; more than half of the municipal facilities within the factory have been completed. With cooperation among the project team and all the construction companies, every sub-project is carried out in order and proceeds as scheduled. Outdoor roads, pipelines, landscaping work have been started in large scale: two sections of main road at east and south of the factory have already been completed; construction preparation work are ready for the main road at middle and west of the factory;( living and fire-fighting) water supply, (rainwater, sewage) drainage, as for the strong and weak electrical cable trenches, excavation work, pipe burring and refilling work will be finished soon; since April, the gingko trees, cherry trees and others have been planted at the west, northwest of the factory and at both sides of the roads between the workshops. Landscaping work will be kept pace with the road construction. Provisional acceptance inspection will be made upon the completion of the Project in June. The company will move into the new factory on Jun.16th. All the construction teams have a tight schedule and work hard to make sure the Project can be completed on time.
As the date of movement is approaching, the movement tasks of the company are increased day by day. Thus, each department shall respond actively and keep good communication with each other so as to solve the problems in time and complete the movement work successfully.
